I'm back again to suffer on the bike. I have lived a difficult weekend in Alcaniz. I was looking forward to fight for something more than the podium. It has been nearly even at the end I have to give thanks that podium obtained, those 16 points that I set back to 44 of Casey.

On Friday it all started well. The M1 line operated until it was Misano blackout. The electrical problem in the circuit is as if we also have affected us. On Saturday and I found many problems, I found the feeling the rear tire grip. Luckily the soft rubber Bridgestone gave us could take a leap and put myself in second row. I saved the dishes in the official and repeated in the race.

The start was not comfortable and I found no improvement Simoncelli positions and close that I could even beat me and beat him again after an error. It was a start which will not let you pick up the pace. Nevertheless, little by little I was able to do it and I stuck to Ben Spies, who was making a great career and also paid grip problems. I am pleased with the outcome and have shot half a second faster than the officers, but obviously I would have liked to aim higher.

Now we go to Japan, Yamaha's home. At the end we will, despite all the controversy in recent months after the disaster in Fukushima. It is a key moment of the season because it is one of my last options continue to aspire to the title. I'll be ready!

lorenzo's note : Graining DAMN!

I have two races to forget. Because of some bugs we are choices of title. But there are still many to attempt a comeback. I have confidence and hope is the last to be lost.

Casey is doing a flawless season. Has not committed a single mistake in the race and the only zero accumulated was to Jerez, where Rossi pulled. Otherwise have been scored in all.

In Indy was again unstoppable. Neither the asphalt that we have all been able to stop complaining. I was hoping to be ahead in the race, but the tires held up slightly, about five laps. The damn graining (consumption of the tire) has turned to dust. As we talked with the team, was fourth at the most one could hope for. The other hope was that Ben Casey won, but problems forced him out is making a big comeback.

Now we are 44 points apart. the new attempt to cut begins this weekend. I'm going to San Marino, bypassing the home. I hope to recover well until Friday.

On Thursday I go back to the circuit. First I have an event in my personal sponsor Rimini Hot Wheels and then the interviews and press conference at Misano. This time I have no special helmet and Yamaha brings the colors red and white.
I hope you have better luck without it. Misano I like, I have gotten great results in all categories, so be ready for battle.

Lorenzo's note : NEED a break

The battle in the corkscrew was not the expected result. I really wanted to keep cutting to Casey, but I lacked the strength in the final meters. I went back and picked up nicely a few feet that helped me to go quiet in the early stages of the race. But the distance was shorter and with six laps I overtook Casey. Everyone asks me why I did not fight to the end. They are spoiled! But this time I limp. It is in those moments when you realize that even after a fall run strong does not mean you left.

In the last few laps I would love a duel with Casey, but will have to wait. I'm keeping positive. I did a lot of damage on Saturday morning, but I could have done more. I could score 25 points, but I could have stayed at zero and large effects in the hip. The situation has hardly changed the classification to a minimum. Casey is 20 points higher in the absence half the MotoGP World Championship.

A long way and now we seem so far away. So we have to keep working as we are doing together. The team has returned to be great, especially how they redid the bike on Saturday after falling in FP3. I felt very strong all weekend, perhaps has been the great prize that I have spent more time in front.

Moving on, Did you see the movie that Yamaha organized in Los Angeles? It was amazing, but really hard. We were shooting all day. We woke up at 5.30 in the morning to be at 8 shooting in the headquarters in Orange County. It was interesting to disguise the 70's with Kenny Roberts, Eayney Rainey, Eddie Lawson, Ben Spies, Colin Edwards and Cal Crutchlow. Colin does not know how, but it seems an act of truth. The wig was awesome. I hope you like it, is the only way to repeat next year.
